Business Asset Development

Hello Business Owners,
Most Business operators do not recognize the internal and external assets they already own with their business. Many business owners throw away "value" everyday with their business. Knowing what are assets to your business adds to your market position and to your business value. For example, say you have a novel way of maintaining inventory. You have developed a way to monitor and manage first in first out inventory. You have created this process from necessity (i.e I can not find which products arrived first and I do not know which products are my real sellers). Now, for you, it is just a way to better manage your inventory. You take your newly developed process for granted. Yet, a business neighbor may find your process to be a "lifesaver". An asset, internal at that, that you created.
That has value for you (i.e connect with another business who could use your process, have a "give away" intellectual property that equal real dollars in trade). So many business do not recognize their assets.
Those asset go unrecognize, underutilized, or unused. I will bring you more examples of how to capture value you already own and convert that value to tangible exchanges. Thank you
